Objectives
NRCN highly utilizes skilled experts and professionals to provide result oriented development programs and services within following domains of fundamental objectives.
- Research, Study and Advocacy:
NRCN contribute in the development of the nations through research, advocacy and policy on natural resource management, bio-diversity, climate change, watershed wetland, conservation and management, renewable energy and protection of local culture. NRCN works as a centre for interdisciplinary research and knowledge according to its mandate.
- Capacity Building:
NRCN works in providing informal education and vocational training of different levels to the unemployed youth and user groups, and then conducts awareness campaigns on the conservation of nature, environment and local culture. Other capacity building programs in collaboration with the training institutes include various practical training to the target groups to ensure jobs in the local markets.
- Conservation of Historical Assets:
NRCN also conducts program to protect & renovate ancient historical places, monuments (temples, stone taps, monasteries, Pati Pauwas etc.) and to revive aesthetic value of culture and depleted natural resources. NRCN works to develope cave as religious and natural destination throughout the country.
- Partnership and Collaboration:
NRCN hosts national and international students, individuals or organizations who are motivated to work and do research in the NRCN's core program areas It promotes its national partners in the area of common interest as mutual benefits. A program launched by NRCN deserves participatory, trustworthy and multiple natural benefits to its stakeholders and partners.
- Workshop and Seminar:
NRCN organizes workshops, seminars, conferences on novel, social and environmental issues including advocacy on human rights and justice especially for the discriminated and marginalized groups.
